Your Paris Photographer

Paris is a gorgeous background to show your love story. My photo sessions aren’t big productions – just me and my cameras, to get natural, beautiful shots. I like to guide couples with small prompts in order to make them comfortable and have fun. My favourite photos have big smiles, laughter, movement, dancing, hugs and lots and lots of love!

What’s the difference between a Paris couple’s photographer and an average photographer?

As a couple’s photographer in Paris, my mission is to encapsulate the city’s beauty while highlighting the love between my couples. Navigating crowds and traffic is a challenge, but meticulous planning ensures your photos look like you have Paris all to yourselves. From iconic landmarks to cozy cafes, I know the perfect spots to capture your love story in the world’s most romantic city. Relax and let me handle everything – just show up and savour the experience.

My Style

When searching for a couple’s photographer in Paris, it’s important to consider not only their portfolio but also their photography style and the experience they provide. Each photographer has their own unique approach and it’s important to find one that aligns with your vision and personality. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and communicate your preferences to ensure a memorable and enjoyable photography experience.

My goal is to capture the natural interactions and emotions between two people in love. I don’t believe in stiff poses or forced smiles. Instead, I guide my couples into positions that feel comfortable and natural, and then give them prompts to evoke genuine reactions and expressions. Whether it’s a whispered joke or a shared memory, those little moments of connection are what make for the most beautiful and memorable photos. And of course, I always make sure to capture the details and surroundings that help tell the story of their love.

As a Paris photographer, I prefer to keep things simple and intimate. I don’t rely on big productions or assistants, instead opting for natural daylight to capture the beauty of the city. Of course, I also offer night-time photo shoots for those looking for a different vibe. While there are certainly other photographers in Paris who do incredible work with larger crews, I find that my approach allows for more flexibility and ease of movement. This is especially helpful when dealing with unexpected crowds or weather changes (and Paris has plenty of those). Despite the simplicity of my approach, I still strive to capture the elegance and luxury that Paris is known for in every shot.

Already live in Paris?

The Details

Location

Paris is a city that is known for its stunning architecture, charming cafés, and iconic landmarks. If you’re looking to capture the perfect couple’s photos in this photogenic city, there are a few must-visit spots that you won’t want to miss. We can start off with a visit to the Eiffel Tower, where you can find hidden spots that offer great views and privacy. From there, we head to the Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre, or the Palais Royal to capture the essence of Parisian charm and history.

For a longer session, we can include outfit changes and a few extra locations like Pont Alexandre III, Montmartre, Luxembourg Gardens, the Marais or any other place that interests you. Take a look at a selection of photo locations here.

Hair & Makeup

To make the most of your session, why not indulge in some pampering? Professional hair and makeup can add an extra touch of glamour to your photoshoot. There are many English-speaking hair and makeup artists in Paris who are skilled at creating a range of looks, from natural to dramatic, that will look stunning in your photos.

Wardrobe

Choosing the perfect outfits for your couple’s photo shoot is crucial to capturing your unique personalities and love story. For your Paris couple’s session, consider dressing up in outfits that reflect your personal style and the romantic atmosphere of the city. Keep in mind the unpredictable weather and have a backup plan, such as clear umbrellas, to ensure your photos turn out beautifully no matter what. As your photographer, I am happy to offer outfit advice and help you feel confident and beautiful in your photos that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Let’s get in touch

How long is a couples session in Paris?

My starting package is 1 hour long, which gives us time to get several spots in one location and capture a good variety of images. For longer sessions with more locations and an outfit change, I offer two and three hour packages. Most couples find 2 hours hits the sweet spot, but extending the session is a great excuse to explore more of the city together.

We can go to iconic spots like the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Palais Royal, and the Seine, along with quieter areas like the Marais, Montmartre, or Luxembourg Gardens. I’ll suggest a route based on your dates, the time of day, and what kind of photos you’re after. Every session is planned around light and timing to avoid the thickest tourist crowds.

Not at all. Most of my couples feel a little awkward at first, and that’s completely normal. I guide you with small prompts and directions that feel natural rather than forced. The best photos usually happen when you’re laughing at something silly or whispering to each other. No posing experience needed. I handle all of that.

Soft colours and classic styles photograph beautifully against the Paris backdrop. Avoid heavy patterns or outfits that match too perfectly. Think about what you’d genuinely wear out to a nice dinner together if you prefer to dress up, or what you would wear on a day out if you prefer something more casual. The most important thing is that you feel good, because confidence comes through in photos. I’m happy to weigh in on outfit choices before your session.

Golden hour, the hour or two after sunrise or before sunset, gives the warmest, most flattering light. Sunrise is my favourite for iconic spots because the streets are empty and the atmosphere is extraordinary. Late afternoon is also lovely. I’ll recommend timing based on the season and your chosen locations so we get the most out of the available light.
