When Jennifer told me that she was coming to Paris with her husband, her toddler AND her extended family, I thought, “oh boy! How are we going to do this?” Luckily, her little one was very calm and in a great (which still blows my mind, considering how far they travelled) and the rest of her family was a really fun and easy-going bunch.

I find that for large family sessions, the key is to focus on a few people at a time, otherwise group photos of everyone together can get monotonous. That’s why we alternated between family members and got some great natural laughs and smiles.
